My new project 2 Old Hatton Main is ready. The project shows Irkus, a young man based in Edinburgh, during a series of everyday household scenes. The scenes serve as a reflection on the concept of inhabiting a space, understood as a way to change a space to feel it as one's own and create a state of affairs that conform to privacy. The moments spent in this space conceived as a way to close the doors and look inside, to take steps on something walked.

 

Getting everything ready for the private view of Ciutat Exposició Col·lectiva next friday. I made En soledat, a serie of photographs about a number of people. It's also a story of the city. Individuals with wandering thoughts. Moments displaced in the memory wich have lost the thread back to reminder. The distance that strenghtens the unknown of the becoming.

 

Preparing the History of Photography and Reading images lessons I'm going to give the course that comes in Centre Cívic Golferichs.

 

This dialogue has encouraged me to start preparing a project about the nature of representation. An interrogation about the iconicity and the circulation problems of images.

 

I finish the course "Orientacions per al treball artístic i cultural" (Orientations for Artistical and Cultural Work), organized by AAVC (Visual Artists Association of Catalonia).
